ComedySportz classes teach comedy improvisation
games, increase communication skills, boost confidence, and are
also a fun way to meet fellow local playful people Every week you will expand upon your knowledge of improvisation, storytelling, character creation and spontaneity ... all while having a lot of fun in the process. The final gathering is a show for your friends and family, starring you and your classmates. Strut your stuff in an engaging low pressure situation! FREE SHOWS - Students may attend FOR FREE all weekly ComedySportz and Blue Show that occur during their class session. TUITION PAYMENT - is not due until the end of the the first class meeting. Summer
2009 ... We've changed up our class session for the summer, to give students more flexibililty work around possible vacations. Each class will be tailord to meet the needs and goals of the individual students. If you regularly attend class on one night, and miss a class - you can then come the same class on the another night. |

COMEDYSPORTz
FOR FUN Saturdays @ 12pm-2pm l $200 Mondays @ 7:30pm-9:30pm l $200 Pick which day of the week works best for you! This class is for people who want simply to learn improv games while having fun playing with other improvisers. The focus of this class is in building confidence, communication skills and sense of play. While students are coached in order to learn new games and skills - less time is spent on preparing for a performance, and more time is spent on simply having fun. This class is both for beginning and experienced improv students. Students will be encouraged to hone the skills that come naturally to them, and to explore other improv skills that they find tricky or scary - all while growing together as team. Students will expand upon the ComedySportz games they know, and will receive individual critiques and challenges. This class is for students who have taken a prior shortform improv class.
