Our eight-week workshops teach skills, boost confidence, and will ultimately get you more friends. Each week we'll play different improv games, learn exercises in team-building, trust, spontaneity, scene-building, accepting and conquering fears - and have a lot of fun in the process. The final week is a show for your friends and family, starring you and your classmates. Show off what you have learned! Workshops meet two hours a week.
FREE SHOWS - Students may attend FOR FREE all weekly ComedySportz and Blue Show that occur during their class session.

IMPROV 101 : ELEMENTS OF IMPROV
Mondays @ 7:30pm-9:30pm l $200
This workshop is an introduction to improv. Basic skills are taught including focus, listening, reacting quickly, teamwork, scenework and trust. This class is excellent for actors or for those looking to be more comfortable on onstage or in public speaking situations. Although this is a foundation class, the pace is determined by the skill level of the participants. Supportive, creative and fun!

COMEDYSPORTz PERFORMANCE SKILLS
Wednesdays @ 7:30-9:30pm l $200
Audition: Wed July 16, 8:00pm (no sign up necessary, just arrive by 7:30pm.)
This class has been specifically designed to train people interested in peforming in ComedySportz shows. This session will focus on the performance skills and persona needed in ComedySportz.
This class has a required audition on July 16 7:30pm that is open to all. At this audition, attendees will be run through a series of basic games, to make sure they are at the same skill level needed. This class is geared towards preparing members for the Fall ComedySportz auditions.
AUDITION: July 16, 8:00pm (no sign up necessary, just arrive by 7:30pm.)

CSz FARM TEAM: PERFORMANCE PRACTICUM
MONDAYS 7:30 - 9:30pm l $60 a month 
This is an ongoing workshop ensemble focusing on improvisation as performance. Participants perform once a month at the ComedySportz theatre. The CSz Farm Team was developed to give students more personal stage time experience. Students are encouraged to use these sessions to create their own improv troupe that best utilizes their skills.
CLASS DATES: Every Monday (auditions in Fall 2008)
PERFORMANCE DATE: Scheduled Saturdays @ 5:00pm
INSTRUCTOR: Dave Rockwell and various CSz instructors, determined by the theme of the practice session.

COMEDYSPORTz TEEN LEAGUE

The ComedySportz Teen League is a class for 8th to 12th graders that covers the fundamental building blocks of improv and how to implement them into a ComedySportz performance.

IMPROV 201: STAGEWORK & CHARACTERS
Saturdays @ 12pm - 2pm l $200
Building on the foundations that were laid down in Improv 101, this class provides students with a more in-depth examination of character creation and plot development. Students are challenged to explore more complicated elements of their individual performance skills. Students work together to fine tune all aspects of comedy improvisation, with coaching and exploration
